OK, I'm not sure how to put a visual on here so I'm just going to bring my visual piece to class tomorrow.....
OK, onto item two. It has long been disputed if Shakespeare actually wrote his own plays. Some believe that Bacon or others actually wrote it. I have a mixed argument. I believe that Shakespeare did the actual writing, but based off of ideas and concepts he "stole" from other authors and play writes. As my AP Literature teacher once said: "writers are all liars and thieves." I completely agree with this, but I think it's a stretch to say that he wrote none of his own stuff.
I've heard another argument that Shakespeare was either a collective name for multiple authors to hide behind, or a pseudonym for a single author. Not only did Shakespeare come out and act in some of his own plays, but many people knew him, and he was married to Ann Hathaway, who he has multiple children with.

visual image
I found this auditory piece very provocative and interesting. I totally agreed with the example of the terrorist attack vs. the drone attack, the terrorist attack seems much worse at first glance. However, in reality, the drone attack is much more horrific because the death toll is higher. When you give it a second glance though, the drone attack would seem even more worse once you imagine the hundred bodies all piled dead and covered in dust and blood together.
I disagree with the speaker's notion that EVERYONE makes their decisions based on how their emotions makes them feel based on the visual they get from a scenario. Not to sound biased, but women, much more than men, get overly emotional about situations. I don't know very many guys who base their reactions on feelings, and I also know a lot of women, (including me) who don't either.

Writing Process
The writing process starts with an idea. The first basis step is simply to get your ideas out of your head and onto somewhere, not necessarily a formal piece of paper. I believe this is why many writers need to have sticky notes attached to their night stand and car windshield or toaster. If they have a thought that has to be written down immediately, there needs to be a space near by where they can get it down before it flutters away.
The second step is to organize the dozens of thoughts that are written down. Gathering the thoughts and having them all in front of you at once is essential. After that they should be grouped by similarities, and then written out into full thoughts and sentences on one page.
The third step is to begin to reform the thoughts into something more concise and flowing. You have to mold the thoughts into something meaningful so that they flow and say something worth looking at.
The fourth step would be a peer edit, if a peer won't edit it, that probably means it's till too bad for another human to look at. Once a second party has glanced through it, a final revision should be done to work out the kinks. I deliberately am being vague, this allows the user of this writing process template to individualize it to their unique situation. Obviously, the writing process would have to be different for different types of writing pieces.
